Omlette Sandwich |
Bread Omlette coupled with green salad one of my favorite comfort food . Hearty meal for a lazy day.
Ingredients :
1- Egg
1/2 cup - Onion
Green chilli - to taste
1/4 cup - Coriander
1/4 tsp - Turmeric
Salt - to taste
1 tsp - Oil / butter
2 slices - Bread
Directions :

Combine all ingredients except egg in a bowl and mix them very well. |

Add egg and whisk it in the onion mixture . The egg should be combined in a way with the onion mixture that the green
and white of egg should mixed well. |

Keep beating the above mixture till it feels light to the fork or whisk. |

Pour it on a well greased pan and shallow fry for 2 min on each side on medium flame.
I like my omlette cripsy hence I fry it a bit longer. |

On the same pan shallow fry bread slices . You can toast them in a toaster alternatively. |
Note :
Liberal use of onion combined with green chilli and coriander helps in getting the right flavour so no variations on that.
The onion mixture should be without any lump pf turmeric or salt as after you add the egg it becomes difficult to break these lumps.
You may want to dissolve salt and turmeri in little bit of water and then add to the other ingredients.
