Banana Walnut Cake |
Eggless, moist cake with rich taste of milk and crunch of walnuts.

Ingredients :
1 cup - all purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup - milk powder
1 tsp - baking powder
1 tsp - cardamom powder
1 cup - powdered sugar
1/2 cup - butter
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup - chopped walnuts
Directions :
| 1 | Combine all the dry ingredients except powdered sugar and sift the ingredients thrice through fine sieve. |
| 2 | Beat the butter for a minute with whisk or hand blender, add sugar and beat again for a minute. Add mashed banana and beat it for another minute. |
| 3 | Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine them using spatula.Move the spatula in one direction only and keep mixing till the dry ingredients are well incorporated in the wet ingredients. |
| 4 | Add chopped walnuts and mix them well with the batter. |
| 5 | Preheat oven at 350 degrees for 10 min. |
| 6 | Take a greased baking vessel and transfer the cake batter in the baking vessel and place it in the preheated oven. |
| 7 | Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes or till the inserted tooth pick comes clear from the centre of the cake. |
