Chocolate Walnut Cake |
Moist delicious chocolate cake thats melts in your mouth.

Ingredients :
1 1/2 cup All purpose flour (maida)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup walnuts
Directions :
| 1 | Combine all the dry ingredients except powdered sugar and walnuts and sift the ingredients thrice through fine sieve. |
| 2 | Beat butter for a minute with whisk or hand blender, add sugar and beat again for a minute. Add eggs one at a time and beat well for 3 minutes. |
| 3 | Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine them using spatula.Move the spatula in one direction only and keep mixing till the dry ingredients are well incorporated in the wet ingredients. |
| 4 | Add chopped walnuts and mix them well with the batter. |
| 5 | Preheat oven at 350 degrees for 10 min. |
| 6 | Take a greased baking vessel and transfer the cake batter in the baking vessel and place it in the preheated oven. |
| 7 | Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes or till the inserted tooth pick comes clear from the centre of the cake. |
