Palak Sukka/Spinach Sukka/Palakachi Sukhi Bhaji |
If you are looking for a palak recipe apart from aloo palak or palak paneer, which quick yet delicious you are at the right place.
Traditionally all our leafy greens are made in the following manner except spinach, never knew why though.I just gave it a try and found it very delicious and thought it was a break from the usual palak paneer. This is a very fast recipe with very few ingredients, is ready in minutes and yummy too


Ingredients :
1 bunch washed spinach
1/4 cup freshly grated coconut
Salt as per taste
Spices :
1 green chilli cut lenghtwise
Tempering :
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions :
| 1 | Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. |
| 2 | Once oil is hot add crushed garlic and fry it till it gets golden colour. |
| 3 | Add green chillies and onion and saute for 5 min |
| 4 | Add spinach and let it cook uncovered for another 10 min on medium heat, stirring occasionally.Moisture from spinach should completely dry out. |
| 5 | Add freshly grated coconut and salt. |
Note :
- Always cook spinach uncovered.
